Week of 4/27 to 5/2

After many months of hard work, late nights, constant changes, and mentor meetings, I have finally come to a close on my Orginal Work. Never had I felt so relieved in my life to be done with a project I put lots of effort into. It's not like I didn't enjoy doing my Original Work, it was just one of the biggest commitments I have ever made to a project and for me to come this far is truly a huge accomplishment. As much as I want to celebrate completing my Orginal Work, my ISM journey is not over quite yet.
Now that I have completed my Original Work, I must now present it at the Final Presentation night. Final Presentation Night isn't just a night to showcase your original work but, also showcase yourself and your journey through ISM. An audience wouldn't show much interest in your Orginal Work without some prior background because most of the time, they won't really know what they're looking at. In preparation for Final Presentation night, I am working on creating my presentation and rehearsing it, hoping to have it recorded by the end of this week before the deadline of May 13th. Another thing I didn't mention is that we will be recording our final presentations on loom this year due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
I am very excited to present at Final Presentation night as that is the night I have looked forward to ever since my freshmen year where I attended my first Final Presentation night as a guest. Now I get actually present my topic of study and original work for others to see. The Final Presentation night will act as the final few meters away from the finish line where I hope to finish strong and apply what I have learned to deliver a great presentation on May 13th.
